North America will never produce a good Dota 2 team

Mid laner for Gaimin Gladiators, Quinn Callahan, discussed the potential for a successful North American Dota 2 team during a stream with Jean 'Gorgc' Stefanovski.

Quinn expressed scepticism about the future success of any North American team, stating, "I would really like it not to be true, but I don’t think any North American team will ever be successful."

Gorgc proposed the idea of forming a North American 'GOAT' team, suggesting players such as Quinn, Snaking, Crit, and Arteezy. To this, Quinn responded with doubt, questioning, "Why would this team even come together? Who would want that?"

The International 2024 will feature only one North American team, nouns, who qualified through the regional qualifiers. Historically, a team from this region has won a TI event before; in 2015, Evil Geniuses emerged as champions with players Clinton 'Fear' Loomis, Saahil 'UNiVeRsE' Arora, Peter 'ppd' Dager, Canadian Curtis 'Aui_2000' Ling, and Pakistani Saeid 'SumaiL' Hassan.
