Content creator Yaroslav "NS" Kuznetsov shared his thoughts during a personal Twitch stream regarding Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko's move to Tundra Esports in Dota 2.
"We'll see. Everyone was criticising Nightfall, but sometimes a player just doesn't shine in a specific team. There can be pressure that holds them back. They expect more from themselves than they can deliver. It's a strange situation where they can't play their Dota, nor the style the team wants. You're pressing buttons, but it leads nowhere. Perhaps in a different team, he could thrive."
Earlier, Kuznetsov also commented on the performance of David "Parker" Nicho Flores, the carry for HEROIC, during the PGL Wallachia Season 2.
"Parker needs to play 1v5. That way, no one can disrupt him. Every time I hear someone say they won 'solo' thanks to players like Korb3n, who claim 'Parker did it alone,' it's always amusing. The rest of the team just stood around the fountain.
The whole team found a way to win. Whenever there's a player like Parker who can 'do it solo', there's also KJ or 4nalog who made it possible for him to shine. It's no surprise that Parker performed well. This kind of talk devalues the efforts of others, making it tedious to read. Some people want to believe in a superhuman who did it all, in a Nietzschean sense. But that has nothing to do with reality."
