The esports organisation Alliance has returned to Dota 2 with a new roster, as announced on the club's social media channels.
Alliance has signed the roster previously known as Dandelions, with Jonathan 'Loda' Berg as the team's coach. The team is set to compete in the PGL Wallachia 2024 Season 2 and the RES Dota 2 Regional Champions: Belgrade. However, they will field a stand-in at the LAN event in Romania; due to visa processing delays, Nikita 'Palantimos' Grinkevich will be unable to attend and will be replaced by Harris 'SkyLark' Zafiriou.
Since December 2023, the Alliance Dota 2 division has been inactive, with the organisation stating that they were working on a return to the discipline. Rumours began circulating in spring 2024 regarding a potential signing of the Dandelions roster, but representatives of the organisation did not officially confirm their interest at that time.
