According to information shared by Metaratings.ru, the broadcasting rights for The International 2024 Dota 2 championship in Russian may have been acquired by Paragon Events. However, at the time of publication, representatives from Paragon Events had not commented on these rumours.
It is still officially unknown who will handle the coverage of the championship in 2024. The Russian-language broadcast of TI 2023 was organised by FISSURE. On 18th March, Paragon Events announced a multi-year agreement with tournament operator PGL, granting the company exclusive rights to cover the new partner’s championships in Russian. On 27th July, it was revealed that Valve would no longer be organising TI tournaments, with PGL now taking over the event management.
The International 2024 will take place from 9th to 15th September in Copenhagen, Denmark. Six teams have received direct invites: Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gladiators, and BetBoom Team. The remaining teams qualified through regional qualifiers.
