The tournament operator PGL has announced the Dota 2 competition calendar for 2025. The company will host three championships in the PGL Wallachia series, each featuring a prize pool of $1 million.
Each upcoming tournament will include 16 teams, with 10 being directly invited and the remaining six qualifying through regional qualifiers. Additionally, organisers will allocate an extra $450,000 for travel and accommodation expenses for the esports players participating in each event.
PGL Wallachia Season 2 took place from October 4 to 13, 2024, at the PGL studio in Bucharest. The event had a total prize pool of $1 million, which was shared among 16 teams, with HEROIC claiming first place.
