Prize Leadership and the Battle for the New Season

Dota 2 Records in 2024

In 2024, Dota 2 reaffirmed its status as the most lucrative eSports title, with over $23 million distributed across 85 tournaments. In comparison, the prize pool for the second-ranking game, Counter-Strike 2, reached $20 million, while League of Legends secured the fifth spot with $8.6 million.

Among eSports organizations, MENA Team Falcons emerged as the top contender, earning $7.2 million from 121 tournaments. Following them, Team Liquid secured second place with $5.4 million, and All Gamers rounded out the top three with $4.9 million.

However, despite these impressive financial achievements, The International 2024 did not rank among the top 10 tournaments in terms of peak viewership, falling behind other events in terms of popularity.
