During a personal stream, Tundra Esports player Ivan 'Pure' Moskalenko shared his thoughts on the Dota 2 ranking system.
Moskalenko expressed indifference towards MMR, noting that while some players in Asia reach 15,000 MMR, he finds the system unremarkable. He suggested that perhaps reaching 20,000 MMR might prompt some changes to the ranking system. Moskalenko mentioned that while having a high rank is ideal for professional players, he is not focused on grinding MMR as he once did. Instead, he spends time testing heroes and preparing for the upcoming season. He acknowledged that for pro players, achieving a high rank is expected, but beyond that, the importance of MMR diminishes.
Previously, Moskalenko mentioned that not all team members had received their visas for Denmark, where The International 2024 will be held.
