Esports player Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev revealed details about his transition to Tundra Esports. He mentioned that he could have joined the Dota 2 roster earlier, but the team initially chose Tobias "Tobi" Buchner.
"After Tundra had some misunderstandings with MinD_ContRoL, I asked Pure~ for a chance to play with them for two or three months. But he replied that Tundra had already found a player [Tobi]."
"In real life, we are good friends with Pure~. We talk a lot and see each other often because we live close by. After Tobi left, they asked me if I wanted to join the team. I agreed." - Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev.
RAMZES also discussed his transition to the offlane position. He believes that his extensive experience as a carry helps him anticipate his opponents' actions.
"Playing as an offlaner, I farm fewer creeps than when I was a carry. You need to create space on the map, and buy a Blink Dagger. My experience as a carry helps me because I have a good understanding of the opponent's heroes. It's much easier to play when you can predict the enemy's actions." - Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev.
At the time of this news release, Tundra had played two matches in DreamLeague Season 23. The team secured a victory against Shopify Rebellion but lost to Team Falcons.
