Professional player Roman "Resolut1on" Fominok explained why he sometimes plays carry in Dota 2. He misses performing in this role, so he occasionally takes it up in public matches.
When asked if he misses playing carry, Fominok said, "Sometimes. When it happens, I play in this position. I have a few heroes that I want to play and just enjoy. So, it happens sometimes."
Resolut1on has not played professionally since 2023. His last team was the mix Old G. After failing to achieve significant results with them, he took a break from the game. In February 2024, Fominok announced that he was ready to return to the pro scene and switch to the support position.
Previously, Fominok explained why he doesn’t play the same role in Dota 2. He changes roles to keep his interest in the MOBA alive. Despite this, he enjoyed playing carry the most.
