Esports player Roman 'Resolut1on' Fominok shared his method for climbing the ranks in Dota 2 during a live Twitch stream.
Fominok explained his approach: "To get into the top 500, there's a formula I follow. I check Dota2ProTracker and look at 5-6 top players in my role to see which heroes they're picking. I form a pool of meta heroes. With a new patch, this takes some time to establish, but after playing for a week or two, I identify 5-6 characters. I watch their replays, observe their movements, builds, and timings, and try to replicate everything. Copying these aspects makes playing easier."
Previously, Fominok mentioned that he was looking for a student for two weeks of coaching.
