Former L1GA Team member Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan discussed why Oracle is not popular in the professional Dota 2 scene. According to him, it is very difficult to draft around Oracle, despite the hero being quite strong on its own.
"The reasons why Oracle is not used in the pro scene are: first, there aren't many good players on Oracle. Second, you need to pick a strong carry for his lane, otherwise, you'll have serious problems. If you can survive the laning phase and put someone like iNSaNiA on Oracle, he's a very powerful hero. He also has a very strong healing aspect. You need to pick a strong carry like Troll Warlord, Chaos Knight, or Monkey King. Otherwise, they will come and mess you up," Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan explained.
Earlier, Nikogosyan shared that he has regained his passion for Dota 2, reaching 12k MMR. He plans to look for a team after the Riyadh Masters 2024 or The International 2024. You can read more about this on our website.
RodjER also shared his immediate plans. He will continue to stream Dota 2 regularly and increase his ranking. He will also engage in community casting for Riyadh Masters 2024, which will be held from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. Teams will compete for a $5 million prize pool.
