RodjER Names the Person Who Led Team Spirit to Success

Esports athlete Vladimir "RodjER" Nikogosyan believes that manager Dmitry "Korb3n" Belov played a crucial role in Team Spirit's rise in the professional Dota 2 scene. He shared his thoughts in an interview with the YouTube channel HardBass TV.

"Everyone tries to follow their example. They work through issues with psychologists and other specialists. The key difference is... Korb3n has a deep understanding of Dota and the discipline itself. He’s a player at heart and understands the mindset of Dota players. He knows how to connect with them. But when professionals from unrelated fields come in and start dictating their own methods, a young 17-year-old player might just think, ‘What are we even doing here? Give me my mouse, I’ll go queue for a match.’

The approach matters. When you deliver information the right way, it’s absorbed effectively. If the person isn't engaged, it won't work. Korb3n assembled the team that eventually became part of the organization. Initially, it was a mix of players led by Korb3n and coach Silent. They started performing well, found an organization, and, let’s say, they took off."

Previously, Belov speculated about Team Spirit's potential third triumph at The International. He’s uncertain if Airat "Silent" Gaziev’s team will continue playing after another world title.

Korb3n has been with Team Spirit since December 2020. During this period, the organization has won two world championships, PGL Major Arlington, and other tournaments.
