The esports organisation Tundra Esports has officially announced the end of its partnership with Ukrainian player Artem "Lorenof" Melnyk, who had been part of the team since September this year on loan from Aurora Gaming. With Lorenof on the roster, the team achieved notable results, including second-place finishes at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 and BLAST Slam I, a top-5 placement at DreamLeague Season 24, but failed to qualify for ESL One Bangkok 2024.
Rumours suggest that Bulgarian midlaner Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov, who has been inactive with OG since September, will take Lorenof’s place in Tundra Esports. However, this has yet to be confirmed by the organisation.
Meanwhile, Lorenof has joined a new team, Chimera Esports, where he will team up with Russian player Nikita "Daxak" Kuzmin and Kazakhstani talent Aibek "TA2000" Tokayev.
Tundra Esports’ current roster:
- Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko (Russia)
- Neta "33" Shapira (Israel)
- Martin "Saksa" Sazdov (North Macedonia)
- Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon (Indonesia)
In related news, rumours have surfaced about major roster changes within MOUZ’s Dota 2 team. Former professional player Baurzhan "lilskrip" Bisembayev, who was permanently banned by Valve and PGL for match-fixing, shared on his Telegram channel that the team could potentially replace up to four players.
According to these rumours, the new MOUZ roster could include:
- Lasha "Nande" Narsia
- Ondřej "Supream^" Štarha
- Tobias "Tobi" Buchner
- Thiago "Thiolicor" Cordeiro
- Tal "Fly" Aizik
If the reshuffle occurs, players Stefan "Ulnit" Gavrila, Nikko "Force" Bilocura, and Ravdan "NARMAN" Narmandakh are likely to leave the team. Notably, NARMAN was already absent from the line-up at recent tournaments, with his position temporarily filled by Alexander "Immersion" Khmelevskoy, who is rumoured to become a permanent member.
