Rumour: VP really want to be the best and are willing to pay

The coach of the Eastern European team 1WIN, Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhambetov, commented on the recent roster changes in the Dota 2 pro scene on his personal Telegram channel.

He expressed that fate can sometimes play tricks better than many would expect, joking about the team composition of C9 with players dukalis and nun together. He noted that Team Spirit had listened to his suggestions and temporarily replaced their players with former members of Yellow Submarine, which he considered a reasonable decision that allowed them to tackle two issues at once.

Kulmukhambetov mentioned that OG seemed to have weakened, speculating that a key player, whom he referred to as "God's gift," might have been performing a crucial role. However, he suggested they would need to wait and see, especially since nine was a former TI champion.

He also shared rumours that Virtus.pro was keen to revive its former glory and was ready to invest significantly in that effort. He wished them luck with that endeavour.

Regarding BB, he indicated they would likely focus on forming only one roster for the time being, despite earlier whispers of two teams being created, although they might revisit that idea after the New Year.

Earlier, Kulmukhambetov had also commented on the changes within Team Spirit, suggesting it made sense for them to place Satanic in the carry role now that Yatoro had gone inactive. He found it odd to bring in a top-tier carry only to kick him out as soon as Yatoro wanted to return. He proposed that they should either embrace a full replacement instead of just using the term "temporary" or look for a player like Onejey to develop synergy with the team, or perhaps recruit RUE from Yellow Submarine.

He concluded by acknowledging the complexity of the situation and sincerely wishing them luck in their decision-making.
