BetBoom Team support Vitaliy "Save-" Melnik evaluated the team's progress since its formation. He also discussed the team's form before the start of Riyadh Masters 2024 for Dota 2.
"There are no noticeable differences from last year. We only changed one player. Not much has changed in our team. We're just moving forward. We're still trying to play and show everything we can.
Our long-term results have improved. It's just that a whole year of playing together has passed. Naturally, the lineup starts playing better over time.
When we formed, Sasha [TORONTOTOKYO] had just switched to the 'five' position, and I returned from inactivity. It's logical that we didn't play well then. But a year and a half have passed, and our players have definitely gotten better—everyone. Our approach to training or other things hasn't changed drastically.
[How do you assess the team's form before Riyadh Masters?] I rate it highly. I've been playing Dota a lot all this time—several months in a row, almost every day. So I'd rate it 8-9 out of 10." Vitaliy "Save-" Melnik expressed.
BB Team continues to compete at Riyadh Masters 2024. The lineup is in fifth place in Group B with a 3-5 record. To make the playoffs, the team needs to finish in the top six of their group.
Riyadh Masters 2024 takes place from July 4 to 21 in Saudi Arabia. Teams are competing for $5 million. Team Spirit from Eastern Europe is also participating in the tournament.
