Players from Ves Mir and BetBoom Team — Alexey «Smiling Knight» Sviridov and Alexander «TORONTOTOKYO» Hertek — shared their thoughts on their ideal Dota 2 teammates and explained why they didn’t join certain well-known organisations.
Smiling Knight: Who’s in His Ideal Team?
Alexey «Smiling Knight» Sviridov discussed who he would like to play with in his ideal team, describing the roster he envisions:
"For the 'three' position, we take Collapse. The mid is tricky... we take N0tail for the 'five', but only in his prime, as he doesn’t play Dota anymore. By the way, in that case, we could take Ceb instead of Collapse. Oh, and then JerAx could also be included."
Sviridov noted that with legends like N0tail and JerAx, their team could achieve great heights, adding that N0tail’s current absence from Dota 2 limits his selection.
TORONTOTOKYO: Why Not Join Tundra Esports?
Meanwhile, former BetBoom Team support and renowned mid-laner Alexander «TORONTOTOKYO» Hertek explained why he did not receive an invitation to join Tundra Esports. In an interview, he revealed that his current role didn’t align with the team’s needs:
"They have a different mid-laner. Initially, I wasn’t even sure if I’d be playing mid at all in the new season. I don’t think... well, what can I say... How could they call me for mid if I’m not even a mid-laner right now? It’s unclear. If I were a mid-laner, it would be a different story, they could have called me. But they already had a mid-laner, and it wasn’t Lorenof."
Hertek explained that, although he is close to the members of Tundra Esports, his role in the team had changed, and he no longer considers himself a mid-laner, which excluded him from the project.
