On 22 September, Steam reached a new peak with 38.3 million concurrent users, setting a record for the platform's online activity. At the same time, over 12.2 million users were actively playing a game.
The previous record for concurrent users had been set in June of this year, when 36.9 million people were on Steam simultaneously.
In May, Valve generated $1.075 billion in revenue from Steam, marking a 14% increase compared to the same period last year, according to statistics shared by GameDiscoverCo.
