Team Liquid crushes Gaimin Gladiators in TI13 grand final

The team comprising Michael "miCKe" Vu, Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, Neta "33" Shapira, Samuel "Boxi" Svahn, and Aydin "Insania" Sarkohi emerged as the winners of the thirteenth edition of The International series tournament.

In the grand final, Team Liquid crushed Gaimin Gladiators 3-0, who had earlier knocked out Tundra Esports. It is worth noting that Gaimin Gladiators also lost to Team Spirit by the same scoreline in the previous TI grand final.

Team Liquid has become the third club in Dota 2 professional history to claim two titles at The International, joining the ranks of OG and Team Spirit. The organisation previously won The International in 2017, albeit with a completely different roster. Furthermore, 33 has now become a two-time TI champion, having also won The International 2022 with Tundra Esports.

For their victory, Team Liquid received 45% of the event’s total prize pool—over one million US dollars. The runners-up secured $358,000 (see detailed prize distribution below).

The International 2024 took place from 4 to 15 September in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, featuring 16 teams. The tournament’s prize pool exceeded $2.5 million.
