Nikita Cheshir Chukalin, the CEO of Team Spirit, commented on the announcement of the updated roster for their Dota 2 team.
He mentioned that during this transfer window, the organisation explored various options for shaping the team but ultimately decided to enhance the roster with young players whose qualities they are already familiar with. He emphasised that working with young talent is a core part of the club's philosophy and one of their management's strengths. Chukalin expressed confidence in their ability to reclaim their position in the Dota 2 landscape, stating that this challenge is not daunting but rather adds excitement to the process, which they felt was lacking in the previous season. He encouraged fans to follow Team Spirit, promising them many new emotions.
It is worth noting that Team Spirit finished in 9th-12th place at The International 2024, the main championship for Dota 2 this year, and also reached the top 8 at the Riyadh Masters 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
