Peter 'ppd' Dager stated that the esports industry is still rife with so-called "professional" scammers whose sole aim is to make money. He expressed concern that the level of dishonest business being conducted at the highest levels should be outlawed, and noted that the next generation of operators is already on the way.
Previously, Russian commentator Yaroslav 'NS' Kuznetsov referred to esports as a "circus and sandbox" due to the varying levels of professionalism among those currently involved in the industry.
