The group stage of The International 2024 for Dota 2 has concluded, determining the matchups for the play-in stage for playoff seeding. The matchups and data from the compendium have revealed the potential opponents for the first round of the upper bracket in the knockout stage of the tournament.
In the first quarter-final of the playoffs, the winners from the pairs Xtreme Gaming/Talon Esports and Team Liquid/BetBoom Team will face off. The second quarter-final will feature Cloud9/1win Team against Team Zero/Aurora Gaming. In the third quarter-final, Team Falcons/beastcoast will compete with Tundra Esports/Heroic, while the fourth quarter-final will see Team Spirit/nouns go up against Gaimin Gladiators/G2 Invictus Gaming. Teams that lose in the play-in stage will begin the final phase from the lower bracket.
The International 2024 takes place from 4th to 15th September in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament's prize pool, which is bolstered by sales of the compendium and its levels, stands at $2.4 million at the time of publication.
