The International 2024 prize pool is the lowest since 2013

The final prize pool for The International 2024 in Dota 2 amounted to $2,572,906. According to Prize Pool Tracker, this total was reached in just under 24 days since the launch of the tournament’s compendium sales.

The prize pool for TI13 turned out to be the lowest since 2013. For comparison, at TI3, teams competed for $2.8 million. Only the first two tournaments in the series had a smaller pool, with Valve contributing $1.6 million at that time.

The International 2024 took place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark. Teams competed for a prize pool exceeding $2.5 million. In the grand final, Team Liquid defeated Gaimin Gladiators 3:0, having not lost a single map in the playoff stage. For their victory, Team Liquid earned over $1.15 million. Peak viewership for the event reached 1.4 million, marking the lowest figure since 2019.
