Luka ‘Lukawa’ Nasuashvili was unimpressed by the list of commentators for the Elite League Season 2 tournament. He stated that the organisers should have considered pro players who are not currently competing for the commentator roles.
He shared his opinion in comments to his Telegram channel subscribers.
Luka expressed doubts about the announced list of commentators, questioning who is responsible for selecting talent. He remarked that he was surprised by the absence of professional players who are currently inactive, as well as young players without teams. He wondered if there had been any discussions with these players.
He also mentioned that he could compile a list of individuals who would look good on screen and also excel at Dota at a top-500 level. Although such players might not be able to speak fluently at the first event, it would demonstrate their development on screen rather than their degradation.
In conclusion, he said he found it strange and not very amusing to watch the situation unfold, as it seems to be dragging on.
Luka’s team, BetBoom Team, is not participating in the Elite League Season 2 or the Clavision Snow Ruyi Invitational. Earlier, Luka had mentioned that the team would compete in one more major tournament before heading to The International 2024, but he did not specify which one.
