The organizers of Riyadh Masters 2024 for Dota 2 have announced the prize pool and tournament format. From July 4 to 21, 20 teams from around the world will compete for a share of $5 million.
The LAN championship has been allocated $10 million less than it was in 2023. Below is the prize distribution for the upcoming event.
Eight teams from the top 8 ESL Pro Tour rankings will start the tournament from the group stage. The remaining teams will compete for four slots in the play-in stage. Out of the 12 play-in participants, 8 will move to the upper bracket of the playoffs, while the remaining 4 will be placed in the lower bracket.
Previously, BetBoom Team, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Gaimin Gladiators, and Team Liquid secured their spots for Riyadh Masters 2024. The organizers will grant three more invites based on the EPT rankings, and the rest of the teams will earn their places through regional qualifiers to compete in Saudi Arabia.
