During his Twitch stream, Kirill 'Hellscream' Lagutik shared his thoughts on Morphling and Nature's Prophet as support heroes in the early meta of patch 7.37.
Hellscream explained that Morphling’s strength as a support lies in his endless resources on the lane. He noted that even if opponents deplete all their abilities to deal with him, he can just step back, heal, and morph. He praised Morphling’s ultimate ability with Aghanim's Aspect, which allows him to transform into heroes like Leshrac and use abilities like Diabolic Edict without cooldown. He mentioned that with Aghanim's Shard, Morphling can use numerous stuns, much like Rubick stealing spells, or turn into Bane to save allies. Hellscream believes that Morphling benefits greatly from the diverse range of useful heroes in the current meta.
Hellscream highlighted that Nature's Prophet is excellent because he can block small camps with Treants while also controlling lanes. He can summon Treants to block camps and manage lanes effectively, making him a strong map control hero. He noted that although Nature's Prophet doesn’t deal as much damage currently, he excels at splitting the map, placing Observer Wards, skipping waves, and pushing towers.
Previously, Vladislav 'Rein' Kosygin identified the best heroes for the fifth position in patch 7.37, including Nature's Prophet, Enchantress, Jakiro, and Crystal Maiden.
