Erik "tOfu" Engel, the support player of the Western European team Gaimin Gladiators, spoke about the team’s adjustments following the change of carry in an interview during the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024.
"We have rethought and reorganised. This is also connected to the heroes that [watson] wants to play and how he calls the shots. He resembles a classic carry more. We didn’t usually play like this; we aimed for tempo and early finishes. We can still do that, but overall, there have been many small changes that individually might not change our playstyle: we have a new player, a new patch and meta, changes regarding heroes and items, and communication."
The BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 takes place from October 19 to 26 in Belgrade, Serbia, with 12 teams competing for a prize pool of one million dollars.
