Tundra Esports' mid-laner, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, commented on Roman "RAMZES" Kushnarev's addition to the Dota 2 roster. The team decided that changes were necessary after ESL One Birmingham 2024.
"Tobi was just our stand-in up until ESL One Birmingham. After the event, we decided to refresh our roster. We discussed who we wanted in the team and ultimately decided to try someone else, so we brought in RAMZES. That's all there is to it." - Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen.
On May 14, RAMZES joined Tundra as a stand-in, replacing Tobi. For now, Kushnarev will assist the team only during DreamLeague Season 23. His future with the team will likely depend on their performance in the tournament.
DreamLeague Season 23 is being held online from May 20 to 26. Twelve teams are competing for one million dollars and EPT points necessary for qualifying for Riyadh Masters 2024. Tundra kicked off the tournament with a victory over Shopify Rebellion.
