Topson has started practicing a new, unconventional mid-hero

Tundra Esports' midlaner, Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, has begun practicing matchmaking with a new hero for himself — Nature's Prophet. The two-time The International champion is using the hero in the midlane, although in the current meta, it's predominantly picked for the offlane or support roles.

Nature's Prophet has become Taavitsainen's most popular hero in the last week. Topson has played ten matches with the hero, achieving a win rate of 70%. Tundra's midlaner often doesn't skill Nature's Call at all, prioritizing his first and second abilities, and later focusing on leveling up his talents. Topson has not yet developed a consistent build for the hero.

It's noteworthy that Nature's Prophet is one of the least popular heroes in Taavitsainen's career. Before this year, Topson hadn't played the hero for about six years. In addition to the Finnish esports player, Denis "larl" Sigityov from Team Spirit has also started picking Nature's Prophet for the midlane — he has played 5 games with a win rate of 60%.
