TORONTOTOKYO Explains Why He Doesn't Use Voice Chat in Dota 2 Pubs

BetBoom Team's support player Alexander «TORONTOTOKYO» Hertek explained why he doesn't talk to teammates in Dota 2 public matches. According to him, using voice chat drains too much of his emotions.

«Guys, I just can't be bothered [to use voice chat]. About two months ago, I noticed that when I used my voice, I seemed to lose too many emotions in games. I wanted to win too much. I'd make calls and wanted my teammates to follow them. But when they start doing complete nonsense — it's just awful. So forget it, I decided to play Dota without voice chat», — Alexander «TORONTOTOKYO» Hertek.

Earlier, Hertek explained why he plays mid during his streams. The esports player takes a break from playing support in the pro scene by playing mid.

BetBoom Team received direct invitations to Riyadh Masters 2024 and The International 2024 based on their season performance. The championships will take place in July and September, respectively. As of the time of this publication, the team has no other tournaments scheduled.
