Valve announced a new hero in Dota 2

Before the grand final of the 2024 Dota 2 championship, the developers officially introduced a new hero—Kez. The character will be added to the game later this year, coinciding with the release of the fourth act of "The Fallen Crown." No further details about the hero have been revealed yet.

“Act IV of The Fallen Crown is approaching its conclusion with a deadly battle against Queen Imperia, and you’ll need all the help you can get. Enter Kez: the leader of the Kazurai Order, head of the wingless, and the newest playable character in Dota 2.”

The International 2024 took place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, Denmark, with 16 teams participating. The prize pool exceeded $2.5 million, with Team Liquid claiming first place.
