On June 2, the Eastern Europe qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024 in Dota 2 concluded. In the grand final, Virtus.pro defeated Natus Vincere with a score of 3:0.
Throughout the entire qualifying tournament, Artem «Fng» Barshak’s team did not lose a single map. On their way to securing a spot, they defeated NextUp, the L1GA Team, and Natus Vincere twice.
Virtus.pro will begin their journey at Riyadh Masters 2024 from the Play-In stage. In the group stage, they will join two other teams from Eastern Europe—BetBoom Team and Team Spirit, who earned invites due to their strong performances at ESL and DreamHack tournaments.
Riyadh Masters 2024 will take place from July 19 to 30 in Saudi Arabia. The teams will compete for a prize pool of $5 million. The matches will be commentated by FISSURE Studio, which has secured broadcasting rights until 2026.
