Virtus.pro: Roster Restructuring and Missing Out on tournament

The once-dominant Virtus.pro, a powerhouse on the professional Dota 2 scene, is currently facing challenging times. Recent rumours and insider statements have shed light on the team's absence from the qualifiers and the list of invited participants for the FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025 tournament.

Statement from Former 9Pandas Manager

Former 9Pandas manager Aldar "Jamba" Djambinov shared his insights on Virtus.pro's current situation:

"Almost all the players in the team are open to offers, except for Zhenya 'Noticed' Shirinkin. From what I understand, the new roster is being built around him. It's clear that the team is undergoing restructuring. If they were offered an invite to the tournament, they probably declined."

Absence from FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade 2025

Virtus.pro neither received an invite to the closed qualifiers nor participated in the open ones. Given their recent underwhelming performances and rumours of significant roster changes, this decision comes as little surprise.

The Team’s Struggles

Once the top team in the region, Virtus.pro now faces serious challenges, including a lack of strong players and inconsistent performances. Their recent tournament results have underscored the need for a rebuild to regain competitiveness on the global stage.
