Visitors to The International 13 were unhappy with its organisation

Attendees of The International 2024 Dota 2 tournament have heavily criticised its organisers. The discussion began on Reddit, where a user compiled a list of reasons why this year’s championship was considered the worst in the series.

Among the complaints were the limited food options at the venue and a poorly stocked souvenir shop. The user pointed out that this was the first TI without complimentary gift bags for attendees, who instead received only a badge and a ticket.

The post also highlighted that the opening ceremony was a pre-recorded video, meaning there was no live show for the fans at the arena. In addition, there were few activities for attendees between matches, with only interviews featuring SirActionSlacks and Tsunami, and the cosplay competition was notably brief.

In the comments, others agreed, placing the blame on the tournament operator, PGL. Some users criticised the seating arrangements, stating, "Most seats were far from the screens, making it difficult to see anything clearly," and several remarked that they didn’t feel the usual "Dota celebration atmosphere."
