Yatoro: “Most Veteran Players Have Issues with Positioning”

Members of Team Spirit’s Dota 2 roster, including Denis “Larl” Sigitov, Ilya “Yatoro” Mulyarchuk, and Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov, appeared on the show “Couch Analysis.” During the show, they critiqued moments from former professional players who have since transitioned to community casters.

The video contains explicit language, so we are unable to publish it on our website. However, you can watch the full episode of “Couch Analysis” on Team Spirit’s YouTube channel.

The Spirit players were amused by highlights from Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov and Andrey “Dread” Golubev. They also reviewed clips from matches involving Alexander “Nix” Levin and Pavel “9pasha” Khvastunov. Among these, Khvastunov received high praise from the esports players. Yatoro observed that all four players struggled with their positioning during fights.

“I’ve noticed that most veteran players have issues with positioning, maybe back then, there wasn’t such a concept. Everyone just went in and fought because each hero only had about 5 HP. It didn’t matter who initiated first; you just fought,” remarked Yatoro.

At the end of May, Team Spirit received an invitation to the Riyadh Masters 2024. They secured enough points following their performance at DreamLeague Season 23. The team has also been invited to The International 2024. As of this publication, Team Spirit has no other tournaments scheduled.
