Dota League 2024: Two Million Dollars

ESB Dota 2 has recently unveiled an exciting addition to their roster of leagues - the Liga 2024 Dota 2 League, exclusively catering to the South American region.

Coming back after years of backing Valve, the $2,000,000 league showcases three tournaments and groundbreaking formats as outlined:

  • Tour 1 – April 3-14th – $500,000
  • Tour 2 – July 24th to August 4th – $500,000
  • Tour 3 – November 27th to December 6th – $1,000,000

This LAN tournament aims to showcase the highest level of competition in South America, replacing the previous Dota Pro League in the region.

Esports World Cup – Riyadh Masters 2024

Once again, Dota 2 will be competing in the Esports World Cup, which will be held in Riyadh in July.

With an exciting revelation, PGL has unveiled its plans to organize a series of eight tournaments, each with a prize pool of $1 million, spanning from 2024 to 2026.

Commencing from the 2024 season, the subsequent tournaments have been officially verified:

  • PGL TBD – November 15-24th – $1,000,000 tournament

Additionally, the 2025 and 2026 Dota Calendar has officially announced a lineup of tournaments, all of which boast a substantial prize pool of $1,000,000 each:

BetBoom Dacha – More Dota Tournaments

In 2023, BetBoom organized its inaugural Dota tournament, marking a significant milestone for the company.

In 2024, they have decided to collaborate once again with FISSURE to host two additional tournaments with a prize pool of $1,000,000 each. 

The inaugural tournament commences in January/February in Dubai, UAE, showcasing the elite 12 teams from around the globe. Currently, the invitations consist of Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, and LGD Gaming, all based on their outstanding performances at The International 2023.

Dota 2 On An Olympic Scale

The International Olympic Committee has officially acknowledged this event, asserting that it is the 'second-largest multi-sport event' after the Olympics.
