1win triumph in CCT Series 5
The Russian team 1win claimed the title of Dota 2 Champion of Champions Tour (CCT) Series 5, securing a 3-1 victory over the Ukrainian squad Passion UA in the grand final of the tournament. This win earned them the top prize of $30,000 from a total prize pool of $50,000.
This victory marked a significant achievement for 1win, who had previously finished as runners-up in CCT Series 3. Despite receiving a direct invitation to the playoff stage, their path to the championship was not without challenges. In the upper bracket quarterfinals, 1win suffered a defeat to Dragon Esports Club, the champions of CCT Series 4, which sent them to the lower bracket. However, the team quickly bounced back, defeating MOUZ, One Move, AVULUS, and NAVI Junior on their way to the grand final.
Tournament Results
- 1win — $30,000
