9Pasha on BetBoom Streamers Battle: "40 goblins..."

Former esports player Pavel "9Pasha" Hvastunov explained why he doesn't participate in the BetBoom Streamers Battle in Dota 2. He doesn't like that there are too many conflicts happening at the event.

"Getting ready for Streamers Battle? Why this Streamers Battle? Have you ever seen what's going on there? I feel bad about what I saw. 40 goblins are sitting there, who sincerely hate and despise each other. Streamers Battle is like some rotten mess. One writes: 'You idiot.' Another replies: 'No, I conducted an investigation, so you're the idiot.' The third writes: 'You're all idiots, I hate you.' And on Streamers Battle, you're supposed to relax and have fun. But where's the fun in that?" - Pavel "9Pasha" Hvastunov

Almost every season of Streamers Battle has been marred by scandals between participants. For example, in the sixth tournament, Alexander "Nix" Levin accused Rostislav "rostislav_999" Protasenya of buying an account. At the same time, the streamer also suspected the LenaGol0vach team of hiding the "fourth" rating. Both content creators denied the accusations. As a result, the tournament organizers conducted an investigation and excluded Team Golovach.

9Pasha has not competed professionally since September 2022. His last team was Pari Parni, with whom he did not achieve significant success. Throughout 2023, Hvastunov worked as an analyst on tournament broadcasts, including regional DPC events and The International 2023. In late 2023, the esports player stated that he was unlikely to resume his player career. He also was not ready to transition to a coaching position.
