Adekvat on TI13: "Chances for a Chinese Aegis Are Close to Zero"
Russian commentator Rustam "Adekvat" Mavlyutov shared his thoughts on his Telegram channel regarding the results of the closed Chinese qualifiers for Dota 2's premier event, The International 2024.
Adekvat recapped, "The second champion from China has been determined - G2.IG! In a stylish move, they utilized a carry Pudge in the decisive game and secured their spot at #TI2024."
The roster for G2.IG includes:

- BoBoKa;
- xNova;
- Coach: super;
- Coach: dogf1ghts.
Adekvat also listed notable players who won't be competing at #TI2024 this year: Chalice, Somnus, Yang, planet, Siamece.C, Lou, Ori, Faith_bian, fy, yftx, y', Pyw, niu, shiro, flyfly, Setsu, old eLeVeN, Kaka, and GODKING.
Reflecting on the names, Adekvat noted, "It’s quite impressive by name and suggests there was strong competition."
Summarizing China's prospects at The International, he stated, "So, our Chinese contenders at TI will be Xtreme, Team Zero, and G2.IG. The chance for a Chinese Aegis is close to zero, but let's wish our fighters good luck!"
The International 2024 will take place from September 4 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Sixteen teams will compete in the championship, with the prize pool yet to be announced.
