Timur 'Ahilles' Kulmukhametov, coach of 1win, shared his thoughts on playing Deadlock, the new shooter from Valve, on his personal Telegram channel.
He described Deadlock as akin to Overwatch with creeps, although he noted that Team Fortress is the genre's originator. He found shooting on the Steam Deck to be somewhat inconvenient, but did his best. Visually, he found the game pleasant, and he liked the concept and idea. He expressed hope that Deadlock would not suffer the same fate as Dota Underlords in the future, and mused about the possibility of becoming a professional player in this upcoming game, suggesting that there might be opportunities.
