The coach of 1win, Timur 'Ahilles' Kulmukhambetov, commented on the team's loss in the match for a slot at the FISSURE Universe: Episode 3. He shared his thoughts about the match against nouns and the team's performance in a personal Telegram channel.
In his message, Kulmukhambetov acknowledged the defeat but praised his team for their effort. He noted that they fought hard, but ultimately fell short of securing the second slot in the qualifiers. He emphasised that this season is about gaining new experiences and highlighted the importance of managing one's energy and resources effectively. According to him, rest and recovery are crucial for success, as it is not possible to perform at one's best in every tournament and qualifier.
Kulmukhambetov also mentioned the dedication of Yegor 'RESPECT' Prokurat, who played through a cold and persistent cough, which he may have contracted from the coach himself. He admitted that when he is ill, he struggles and only feels like retreating to play games. Despite this, he tried to adhere to quarantine measures, attending drafts and then retreating to his room.
