Ahilles about the defeat on TI24

The coach of the Eastern European team 1WIN, Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhambetov, shared his thoughts on his team's loss at The International 2024 on his personal Telegram channel.

He expressed that it had been a tough match, acknowledging that they were only given a few chances by their opponents. He also mentioned that Team Falcons put up a strong fight and congratulated them on their victory.

Reflecting on the outcome, he noted that 1WIN finished The International in 9th-12th place and admitted that the team didn’t deliver an impressive performance. While there was nothing to be proud of, they wouldn’t be overly discouraged, considering it a learning experience.

He thanked the fans for their support, highlighting the positive energy and encouragement they had received, and looked forward to the next season.

The International 2024 is being held from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, featuring 16 teams. The prize pool exceeds $2.4 million and continues to grow through compendium sales.
