Ahilles on patch 7.36c: "Surprised that Chaos Knight was barely touched"
1win coach Timur "Ahilles" Kulmukhambetov commented on the changes in patch 7.36c for Dota 2. He finds some hero adjustments puzzling but is satisfied with the update.
"I've studied the patch a bit and am testing it out. I'm surprised that Chaos Knight was barely touched. He's still an S-tier powerhouse. The support meta has changed significantly: we'll see Dark Willow less in the first phase, and Witch Doctor might come out more often, with Clockwerk appearing less frequently. It's strange that they nerfed Warlock, who was rarely picked. Fishman used him in qualifiers, but the hero didn't perform exceptionally well. Batrider and Tiny will be popular in the meta. Weaver got nerfed again and will be picked less often. We'll see how it goes; the patch is interesting," Ahilles said.
The 7.36c update was released on June 25, 2024. It included balance changes to several heroes and items, including Pudge, Medusa, and Radiance. More details can be found on our website.
On June 26, Kulmukhambetov's team was invited to the 1win Series Dota 2 Summer. The championship will be held online from June 27 to 30. Participants will compete for $100,000. Team Spirit and Virtus.pro will also represent Eastern Europe in the tournament.
