Almost a third of all Dota 2 players are Russians

A Reddit user with the nickname Totor13x has compiled and published statistics on the distribution of players from different countries in Dota 2.

To gather this data, the author analysed over a million users across approximately 458,000 ranked matches. Totor13x utilised chat logs, player profiles, guilds, groups, and other sources. According to the author, the margin of error is only 1-2%.

According to the provided statistics, the highest percentage of Dota 2 users comes from Russia, comprising 30% of players. In second place are players from China, accounting for 12.1%, followed by players from Singapore at 10.4%.
