Antares: "Skywrath Mage has been dead for a year and a half"

Virtus.pro's Dota 2 support player Vladislav "Antares" Kertman expressed his dissatisfaction with the changes made to Skywrath Mage in patch 7.37, stating that Valve has nerfed an already "dead hero." His post was published on his personal Telegram page.

Kertman remarked that Skywrath Mage has been ineffective for about a year and a half in all aspects, and now the hero has been further weakened.

In patch 7.37, the developers altered the mechanics of damage blocking and debilitation and balanced numerous heroes. For Skywrath Mage, the duration of the barrier from Shield of the Scion was reduced, and the level 15 talent was reworked.
