ATF joins Pandas and brings first win in a long time

Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf, an off-laner from Team Falcons, stepped in as a stand-in for the Russian team 9Pandas during the group stage of European Pro League Season 21. The Jordanian player replaced Danilo "ChodeX" Popović from Serbia, who had only recently joined the roster. Playing in the third position, ATF helped 9Pandas secure a dominant victory over HYDRA, breaking their 149-day losing streak and propelling the team to the top of their group.

In their match against HYDRA, 9Pandas won both maps in under 30 minutes, leaving no room for their opponents to stage a comeback. It is still uncertain whether ATF will continue with the team beyond this tournament or if his role was just for this one-time stand-in during the event.

European Pro League Season 21 is being held online from November 12 to 27, with a total prize pool of $20,000 to be shared among 12 participating teams.

The current 9Pandas roster includes:

- Mykhailo "DarkLord^" Blynov (Ukraine)

- Daniil "erase" Ivanov (Russia)

- Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf (Jordan) – stand-in

- Daniyal "yamich" Lazebny (Russia)

- Aleksei "Solo" Berezin (Russia)
