During a personal stream, Belarusian esports player and streamer Artyom 'Fng' Barshak discussed the current meta in Dota 2.

Barshak commented that the meta involving aura items is not just an issue for offlaners but affects other heroes as well. He acknowledged that every patch will have something stronger or more effective than other options, which is inherent in competitive games where one player aims to outperform another. He noted that there will always be elements that are slightly better or more advantageous.

Regarding auras, Barshak expressed frustration with their lack of skill requirement, stating that their use can make a hero virtually invincible with minimal effort. While he is not a fan of auras, he admitted that each patch tends to introduce something that players might find annoying. He pointed out that in the past there have been various issues, such as Necrolytes or illusionist patches, and there will always be aspects to complain about.
