BetBoom Team and Team Spirit Receive Direct Invites to The International 2024

Valve Studio has announced the teams receiving direct invitations to the upcoming The International 2024 for Dota 2. The slots were awarded to Team Spirit, Xtreme Gaming, Team Falcons, Team Liquid, Gaimin Gladiators, and BetBoom Team.

The remaining tournament participants will be determined based on the results of regional qualifiers. These qualifiers will take place from June 9th to June 23rd online. In South America, China, Western Europe, and Southeast Asia, two slots will be up for grabs, while in Eastern Europe and North America, there will be one slot each.

Valve also revealed the dates for the world championship. The International 2024 will take place from September 4th to September 15th. Only the top eight teams will compete before the audience at the Royal Arena.

The tournament will be held in the Danish city of Copenhagen. Details about the prize pool and other specifics of the championship are currently unknown.
