Betboom try new approach to training

Off-laner Matvey "MieRo`" Vasyunin from the Eastern European team BetBoom Team shared insights on their preparation for the main Dota 2 championship of 2024.

He mentioned that the team travelled to the tournament after their bootcamp in Serbia. Despite a few setbacks, everything was fine. During the bootcamp, they adopted a new training approach, which focused more on watching replays as a team. They analysed a significant number of replays, and he felt they were well-prepared for the event.

At the beginning of the season, the team lacked synergy, but over time, he learned more about the BetBoom Team’s playstyle. The coach continuously explained what needed to be done, and gradually, he became more confident and improved his performance.

The International 2024 is taking place from 4 to 15 September in Copenhagen, featuring 16 teams. The prize pool exceeds $2.4 million and continues to grow through compendium sales.
