Vladislav "BLACKARXANGEL" Ivashchenko, a professional player and caster from Kazakhstan, shared his thoughts on the loss of Alexey "Solo" Berezin's team in the qualifiers for The International 2024.
Reflecting on the match, BLACKARXANGEL remarked that the "pandas" were on equal footing with 1win in the grand final. He believed that the outcome was heavily influenced by the first game, where the 1win team displayed more persistence and successfully countered Tinker, preventing a victory for Solo's team.
Ivashchenko expressed his view that, even if Solo were to retire now, he would still be regarded as a legend by everyone. He mentioned how he personally learned a lot by studying Solo's replays over the years, especially during the period when Solo was the captain of Virtus.pro's "golden roster." BLACKARXANGEL highlighted that it would be unfortunate to see Solo retire because he has continually demonstrated his ability to play at a high level and win. He noted that the decision about Solo's future career ultimately depends on Solo's own passion and desire to continue playing the game they all love.
Earlier, Ivashchenko also commented on the victory of the Eastern European team 1win in the TI13 qualifiers.
