BLAST announced nine Dota 2 tournaments

The tournament operator BLAST has announced a series of major Dota 2 tournaments scheduled for 2024, 2025, and 2026, during which the company will host nine events.

The inaugural BLAST Slam will kick off on 26 November this year. The group stage of the event will be held online, while the final stage will take place at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament prize pool will amount to one million dollars, with the winner receiving $400,000.

Ten invited teams will compete in BLAST Slam I, divided into two groups, with the competition format being Round Robin bo1. All participants will advance to the next stage, called the Gauntlet Stage (playoffs), and their seeding in this stage will depend on their performance in the group stage.

All subsequent BLAST championships for Dota 2 will follow a similar format. The dates for these competitions are indicated in the image below, with venues to be announced later.
